There are many others and several variations of a construction equipment, but the ones listed below are the most common ones used by our contractors.
Excavators are large construction equipment that can be available over wheels or tracks; the latest one considered the standard in the industry. A traditional excavator usually has a long bucket arm attached to a pivoting cab that can rotate a full 360 degrees. The operator sits in the cab and from there he/she can be able to have visibility of the site. Excavators are used most of the times to dig dirt or to lift heavy pieces including prefab pieces, pipes and other smaller equipment.

Concrete finishers are often responsible for setting the concrete forms, ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch. Concrete finishers place the concrete either directly from the concrete wagon chute, concrete pump, concrete skip or wheelbarrow. They spread the concrete using shovels and rakes, sometimes using a straightedge back and forth across the top of the forms to “screed,” or level, the freshly placed concrete. After levelling the concrete, they smooth the surface using either a hand trowel, a long handed “bull float” or powered floats. After the concrete has been leveled and floated, concrete finishers press an edger between the forms and the concrete to chamfer the edges so that they are less likely to chip. Broom and stamp finishes are a couple of different finished products for outdoor concrete after the trowel-finish is complete. The broom finish is used to prevent slipping on the concrete, and the stamp finish is used for look
Bulldozers are considered one of the strongest and most reliable heavy equipment used in the construction industry. It is powerful and extremely heavy equipment used to move dirt along large open tracts of land. Bulldozers have a wide flat blade in front that can be operated using two hydraulic pistons allowing the blade to be moved in limited angles or depths. They are normally used to push piles of earth and for rough/fine grading depending on the size of the bulldozer. Its weight can be used to crush larger boulders among other actions.
is the combination of a tractor unit and one or more semi-trailers to carry freight. It is variously known as a transport (truck). The tractor unit typically has two or three axles; those built for hauling heavy-duty commercial-construction machinery
Crawler cranes make short work of toughest jobs. They are available in a broad range of lifting capacities for applications in a wide variety of fields, including heavy-duty foundation work. As a self-propelled crane, it is able to move around a site and perform jobs without much set-up.
